For over 20 years we’ve been providing bespoke joinery solutions to the construction industry, alongside other commercial & private clients. We are uniquely positioned to deliver bespoke joinery packages on a large scale, to budget and to programme. Our portfolio is diverse and far reaching & we attribute its success to the skill of our workforce.
Our business began as a manufacturer and supplier to the church pipe organ building trade. An organ is a vastly complex instrument. The skills we developed in their creation were crucial to our transition into bespoke joinery. The rich heritage of organs helped us to develop an understanding of preservation and restoration. Building full size church organs versed us in a traditional approach to manufacturing which we could then use a platform from which to apply a modern methodology. Whatever the challenge, our years of experience allows us to identify the correct tool for any task.
P&S Philosophy
Years of experience can only take you so far. If skills learned are not used to teach a new generation then they will disappear. That’s why it is a vital part of our philosophy to train new workers and provide them with the necessary expertise that will guarantee success; for them, and for us. This can only be made possible by adopting a policy of tolerance throughout our workforce and providing everybody with the same opportunity, regardless of background or status. The work involved is the best apprenticeship anyone coming through our workshop could hope to receive as it is an inclusive programme that requires the mastery of so many skills.
Our decades in the joinery business has taught us that not all design is static. Bespoke joinery can offer unique challenges and when this happens it is in the nature of the design to evolve with the job. At P&S we believe it is critical to be prepared for these changes and embrace them when they occur. We do not balk at a challenge but jump at the opportunity to discover the best solution; it is in the fabric of our systems to look for solutions and provide support.
