Founded in 1458 Gonville & Caius is one of the oldest colleges at Cambridge University.

In 1995 John Simpson & Partners won a limited competition to provide additional space for the growing number of fellows and students. As part of this contract we were offered the opportunity to manufacture new doors and furnishing for the Fellows’ Dining Room.

The entire project was completed in 1998 and in March of that year was opened by the Prince of Wales. It went on to receive the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Award in 1999.
